Two Priority Projects

Two Priority Projects of Buddhism for Education of Cambodia
1) Prisoner Moral Education Project 
2) Buddhist Sunday Course Project

-Prisoner Moral Education Project is running at Battambang prisoner on every Friday at 8 AM to 10 AM.More than 2,000 prisoners will be educated with the Buddhist principle to help them understand how to live peacefully in prison as well as in society.
-Buddhist Sunday Course Project

This project will be conducted on October for Children and Youth.This course will be divided into three levels:
1)Primary Level
2)Intermediate Level
3)Advanced Level
Each course lasts for 4 months to be completed.


The syllabus of Primary Level
            1-The recitation of triple gem attributes various chanting doctrines, how to observe the  
               five and the eight precepts and its meanings.
            2-The biography of Buddhism flag and the recitation of Buddhism flag  rhythm.
            3-Buddha biography in Khmer and English, part 1.
            4-How to be an outstanding student; and saluting and kneeling posture rules.
       5-The study of human beings, divine beings, hell beings, hungry ghosts and animals; and how to associate with other people etc.

The syllabus of Intermediate
            1-Teaching human duties (Sangahadhamma).
            2-Buddha biography in Khmer and English, part 2.
            3-How to protect and conserve Buddhism.
            4-How to be successful in life.
            5-The study of men’s and women’s characteristics.

The syllabus of advanced level
            1-How to effectively manage the family.
            2-How to be a rich person.
            3-Qualities of managers.
            4-Good leaders.
            5-Buddha biography in Khmer and English, part 3 and biography of other religions.
            6-How to resolve all sorts of problems and how to build a peaceful society.
            7-Formulae of being excellent youths in the society.
      8-Administration affair, communication skill, the art of coordination and public speaking; and composition skills and poetry composition.
